Definitely a hand made table. Very thin bamboo on the table top. There is no finish. You must be careful when folding the table back up or you will bend the bamboo slats on top. What I like is that the table is large enough for two place settings with drinks and condiments. I bought this for a small patio at our vacation home which we visit a few times a year, it should hold up with minimum use.
